Please read our terms and conditions carefully before confirming any order with Tantrums & Tiaras. Your use of our services is conditioned upon your acceptance of these terms.
By using Tantrums and Tiaras you agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time.
An event or order is only considered 'Booked' after a 50% deposit is received.
The initial 50% deposit is a non-refundable fee, which reserves the event time and date of your order. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before your event, delivery or collection.
Payments can be made by bank transfer.
Failure to make the deposit payment will result in your booking not being secured and no balloons will be ordered for you if applicable.
Re-scheduling- The client may reschedule their installation or order at least 1 week prior to agreed date. If these terms are met the client may transfer the deposit over to another date. The client can reschedule their order/event within the next 12 calendar months at the convenience of Tantrums and Tiaras.
Cancelling- The client maintains the right to cancel at any time. However, we place the order for the balloons and materials needed for your balloon decoration project the same day you place your order and pay the 50% deposit. So in return, we are not able to refund deposits made.
Deleting décor pieces cannot be made on any orders after your balloon décor has been ordered. Adding décor pieces can only be made if there is a least 7 days before installation/ event/ delivery/ collection. Colour changes will result in additional charges to cover costs.
Setup time will be dependent on the size of the balloon decor. These times will be discussed when you place your order.
Our delivery and installation charge fee depends on the location of the event and the complexity of the set up. This will take into account any additional working hours, travel time and travel costs.
Arrival- Access to an event location must be secured and confirmed by the client with the venue. Tantrums and Tiaras cannot be held responsible for delays if a reasonable amount of time is not allocated to complete the décor installation.
Balloon Displays- Tantrums and Tiaras will not deliver balloon displays to Leisure Centres, pubs or restaurants, unless part of an installation. The client must arrange collection. Please note, some older venues do not have doors wide enough to take a large display through. Please check with the venue prior to placing your order.
Once the balloon décor has been collected by the client, Tantrums and Tiaras accepts no liability for any damage caused during transit.
All materials are guaranteed to be as specified with the manufacturer. If the supplier or manufacturer is out of stock on a product, Tantrums and Tiaras reserves the right to substitute an item of like kind and quality.
Foils- During transit of any foil balloon displays the foils may deflate due to temperature change. However, once back in a warm house the foils will re-inflate to original size.
Bubble Balloons- Bubble balloons aren't as robust as normal balloons and are very delicate. So please be gentle with them.
Once balloons have been collected Tantrums and Tiaras accepts no liability for them deflating or being damaged. The balloons will be inflated at least 24 hours before collection date to ensure there are no defects with the balloons.
We use only the highest quality products and make every possible effort that your décor will meet or exceed your expectations. However, due to the general nature of balloons, we cannot guarantee that your balloons will remain perfect and intact when outdoors. Some balloons will occasionally deflate sooner than expected when outdoors and will also be adversely affected by wind, rain, extreme heat and rough handling.
Sun Damage- on the off chance the sun is shining bright enough to cause any damage, its worth noting that if left in the sun balloons can begin to fade in colour. If it's hot then the sun may cause some balloons to pop. Also please note that balloons can turn matte when used outside, this is due to them oxidising.
Latex balloons filled with helium will start to fall after 4-6 hours of inflation. We add a solution that coats the inside of the balloon to prolong the float time. However, we can only state that the balloons will be suitable for the event. If they last for a few more days after it is a bonus.
Balloons can cause a choking hazard and once the balloons have been delivered and Tantrums and Tiaras have left the location, or you have collected, we no longer accept any liability. Children should be monitored to ensure they do not swallow any balloon parts. All balloons provided are CE Approved.
Hired props must be stored inside overnight at the agreed venue/ place at the time of your booking and must not to be moved to another location. Props are not toys so should not be climbed on or have alterations made to them. If any damage is caused to a prop or our equipment, the cost of the full replacement value will need to be paid. This is stated on your Hire Agreement.
Light up numbers and sail board props needs to be stored on dry level ground. It cannot be placed directly on to grass in your garden. Due to the un-even surface it will topple and break. Due to the changeable weather we do not allow the use of our props ourdoor’s.
Our light up numbers are for display purposes only. No climbing or sitting is permitted on this prop. Please also ensure that it is not used as a drinks table. Wine stains will result in the woodwork being stained and will require re-painting/ replacement.
The props must be stored inside in a dry area overnight and not be moved to another location that differs to the location on the Hire Agreement above.
All goods must be available to collect at the agreed time or it will delay other peoples bookings. In the event we are not able to collect from your home at the agreed time, a further cost of a days hire will be added.
No balloon décor must be attached to the light up numbers at the back. This must be attached by a professional. Foliage added can scratch the surface area. Under no circumstances should curling ribbon, wire or cables be attached to the electrics to support the weight of balloon garland décor.
Only the Extension lead provided by Tantrums and Tiaras which is PAT Tested can be used to power these lights. Please do not load additional items into our extension lead, such as extension leads running to other electrical items, to avoid over loading the maximum current.
All foliage and flower décor is hired. They need to remain at the venue with the goods. If items are not available for collection at the time we attend, we will alert you to the missing items and require them returned to us immediately or at a time we agree upon. After this point we will need to replace them due to fulfilling other bookings and you will be charged the full cost of replacing missing goods.
Tantrums and Tiaras ensures that all products supplied are CE approved. Our tents have been tested and approved as safe. All bedding is safe and suitable for use.
Tantrums & Tiaras reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.

If the equipment is unavailable for pick up, Tantrums & Tiaras reserves the right to charge the Hirer for extra time as per the 22 hour rate. Postponement, If the Hirer chooses to postpone the hire of the equipment, cancellation charges will apply. See Below.
Please ensure that a responsible adult supervises the equipment at all times.
The equipment has an age restriction. No one under 5 years old should use the equipment. Please ensure no-one under this age uses the equipment at any time.
Always ensure the equipment is not over-crowded and limit numbers according to the age and size of the persons using it. Also ensure that the age range of those using the equipment is suitable.
When hiring any Tantrums & Tiaras, products and other services, You, the hirer, will be responsible whilst hiring this equipment, and ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to it. Please ensure all safety instructions and guides are followed. We strongly advise that you seek your own liability insurance if you are concerned about the following terms and conditions.
All Sleepovers required on a Friday will be set up Thursday evening to allow the use of the equipment straight from school. Equipment will be collection the morning after the event (Saturday). This is dependent upon the site location and our delivery and collection routes. We will always endeavour to give the hirer as long a period of time as possible to use the Teepee's on the day of hire.
It is the Hirer's responsibility to check and ensure that they are happy with the condition and set-up of the Teepee's and equipment, before the staff member from Tantrums & Tiaras leaves the premises.
The individual Teepee's are not suitable for outside use and are for strictly indoor use only.
Ensure users are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in such a manner as to risk injury or cause distress to others, or damage the equipment.
No smoking near the equipment. Keep all products/goods away from fire and candles.
Removal of batteries from any products is strictly prohibited.
All hire equipment; duvets, linen and bed sheets need to be returned dry. Notification of any spillages etc should be made on pick up.
Climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls of the equipment must not be allowed at any time as this may cause injury.
No food, drinks, drinks glasses or chewing gum is allowed in the Teepee's.
Positioning/Setting up of Equipment. - The Hirer is responsible for indicating clearly the location of the assembly of the equipment. The Business will take every care, but shall not be liable for any damage to the site, site access, furniture or personal belongings. We will not set up near open fires or blocking fire exits as per our own risk assessments.
Please ensure the room designated for the sleepover is clear from any furniture etc before the arranged set up. If the room is not clear and we are unable to set up the sleepover Tantrums & Tiaras reserves the right to come back at a later time or to refuse to set up the sleepover (without refund).
During set-up and take down of the equipment, do not allow anyone on, in or near the equipment as this may cause injury. The set-up and take down of equipment must only be performed by a member of Tantrums & Tiaras. Tampering is strictly forbidden of any equipment/products at any time by children.
Please do not move the Teepees once they have been set up in accordance with the hirers instructions. It is not permitted to move the position of any of the Teepees, or to move to another room.
All floor areas must be dry and clean from dirt and dust before setup commences.
Shoes, glasses, sunglasses, jewellery, badges etc. must be removed before using the equipment. No face paint, slime, make up, party poppers, confetti, coloured streamers or silly string to be used on or near the equipment.
No sharp instruments are allowed on, in or around the equipment.
No running in and out of the Teepee's or side to side. No running around the Teepee's. Do not allow anyone to bounce or jump in the Teepee's.
Ensure that no-one uses the equipment if they are feeling unwell.
Please ensure that no pets use the Teepee's.
Ensure that there is at least a 2ft. clearance on each side of the equipment. The equipment should not be used if it becomes wet.
Cancellation - If the Hirer cancels the booking, the Business reserves the right to charge the following:
14-30 days from delivery date 25% of the invoice amount.
7-14 days from delivery date 50% of invoice amount.
1-7 days from delivery date 75% of the invoice amount.
Within 24 hours of delivery date 100% of invoice amount.
The Delivery date is usually the day of the function / booked date, unless otherwise specified. £50 Deposit is Non refundable but may be transferable to hold another date.
We, the company, cannot be held responsible for the safe consumption, or any issues resulting from food allergies. It is your responsibility to check all food labelling, and that it is suitable and safe for the consumption of guests with allergies and/or intolerances.
We, the company, cannot be held responsible for any adverse reaction to any particular ingredient and/or product, We recommend that you read the ingredient lists carefully prior to any products being used and/or applied. An allergy test is recommended if there is any doubt or history of skin reaction. It is your responsibility to immediately stop application of the product(s) if any reaction occurs.
It is the responsibility of you, the hirer, to chaperone all staff members at all times.
Please note that all persons using this equipment do so at their own risk.
If a member of Tantrums & Tiara’s is asked to move furniture etc they are not liable for any damages incurred.
The person/organisation hiring this equipment will be responsible and liable for any damage or injury occurring from, or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times. You, the hirer, accept sole responsibility for the safety of all persons using this equipment and agree to ensure it is supervised at all times by either you, or a responsible adult and accept full liability for any injury occurring from misuse or reckless use. We, the company, cannot be held responsible for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
The Hirer is fully responsible and will pay for any loss or damage that may occur, this will include that all equipment/goods are returned in an acceptable condition. It is the Hirer's responsibility to check and ensure that they are happy with the condition and set-up of the Teepee's and equipment, before the staff member from Tantrums and Tiaras leaves the premises.
We use professional equipment and material as intended for its particular purpose with all designs. To limit the risk of damage we recommend that all décor remain in the position it was installed in.
Garlands must be hung from photo hooks or a curtain pole. Tantrums and Tiaras will not use command hooks on the walls inside your home. Another option is a balloon plinth or sail board where the balloons can be attached too, without causing any damage to your home décor.
